Draglins!

Hello everyone! Myself and 
relolia have been working on a custom race for a bit, and I'm ready to share some of the lore and information we have about them!
So what are Draglins? Simply put, a Draglin is a hybrid of a dragon and a goblin. On average, Draglins can live on average for 3-400 years due to their dragon lineage, but grow quickly into maturity within 20 years due to their goblin heritage. Draglins can vary in size, but 4 feet seems to be the overall average height. They are a short, inquisitive race that loves to explore and adventure, and are always on the lookout for new experiences.
Origins
Goblins, enslaved in a mountain under an ancient and forgotten dragon were forced to mine gold and precious gems for their evil captor. Generation after generation of goblin was forced to work themselves to death. Eventually, the captive goblins formed a rebellion, and overthrew their lord in an uprising as he slumbered. As thousands of goblins swarmed the dragon wielding pickaxes and makeshift tools, he cursed their betrayal, his blood the magic that would keep them trapped under the mountain for a millennia. The dragon's blood - seeping into it's horde of treasure and into the mines below - mutated his goblin slaves. For a thousand years they lived, trapped under his corpse and blood-curse, until they eventually mined their way to the surface, to a world unfamiliar to them.
Society
Draglin society is akin to that of your normal society, most closely resembling Human society. They are an open people who are inquisitive and welcoming of outsiders. They have a deep love of food and an acute interest in fantastical tales. Due to their nature, they are often at odds with Dwarves over mining rights to particular areas.
The main difference is, Draglins are a female-led society. Gender roles are reversed, where females are the ones who take on jobs and go adventuring, while the males generally stay home and keep the stead. There are exceptions to every circumstance of course, and Draglin society truly lets individuals explore the options that suit them best.
Their small hands allow them to be fine and dextrous craftsmen, with a love of jewelry. Due to their newly refined pallets, Draglins have also shown a proficiency and love of cooking, often trying new and exciting recipes, or hunting different monsters for ingredients.
Draglins love food so much that they have taken to naming themselves after their favorite food dishes. Names can vary from cooking techniques, tools, or the dishes themselves!
Draglin Traits
A typical Draglin stands around 4 feet tall. Their hair and eye color mimics precious metals and stones they were once forced to mine. They have large almond-shaped eyes, and large goblin-esque ears. All Draglins have a chubby tail planted right at the base of their spine. Differences in Draglins can also include the addition of scales, horns, small gems protruding from their skin, or even small vestigial wings.
Most Draglins dress as they see fit, and an individual's clothing style is celebrated as a personal choice -a choice they never had as slaves. However, on average, most Draglins prefer comfortable, and sometimes even lavish clothing, choosing to decorate themselves in silks and fine garments. They also love jewelry, and a typical Draglin can have anywhere from 3 to 9 piercings per ear.
All Draglins have some sort of small breath weapon, although the element itself seems to vary from one Draglin to another. This breath weapon is almost never lethal, and is generally only powerful enough to start a campfire, or cool down a hot drink.
Procreation aka THE BIG HORNY
Draglins themselves are rare to see out in the world, due to their limited numbers. Although they enjoy sex as much as the next race, they only have limited windows to reproduce once every year, and are only able to reproduce with other Draglins. However, due to this, sexuality is not something the Draglins particularly care about. Females can use magic to grow genitals, males can bottom - Draglins truly don't care, as long as it's fun and it feels good. Because they are magical beings, Draglins have a higher concentration of nerve endings in their erogenous zones, which allows them to be hyper-sensitive when breeding. The race's acclimation towards magic also helps them spice up the bedroom quite a bit!
Due to their inability to breed with other races, Draglins often find interracial partners they like and stick by them, just for the enjoyment and exoticism of it. Even if they can't reproduce, they certainly like to get the practice in.

1) Draglins didnt really introduce themselves. As younger ones ventured out, they slowly just integrated themselves as an exotic species (which they play up to great regards); most people view them as some weird form of friendly fae creature.
2) Draglins and Dwarves have a kind of Dwarf/Elf relationship where they stand eachother for mutually beneficial reasons; Draglins have had to try very hard to make sure Dwarves regard them better than their full-blood brethren on either side.
Do some integrate into society by getting a job as a cook or jewelers?
2) Some do! Some go on adventures, some get random jobs anywhere - and in the case of my girls, they opened their own Tavern and mobile "Food Cart"
What's the tallest a Draglin can grow to?
Hmm...the tallest draglin is probably about 4.5 ft tall :D
