Furries are furries. Birbs are most common among bird-fursona'd people I've seen, but it's not like. a mandated thing. It's just a fun distinction under the furry umbrella term, with scalies, furries, mechs, cetas, birbs, etc. etc, being just that. Subcultures to the Furry fandom and its culture.

I've never seen any of them say "featheries" or anything lol. It's usually just birdsona or maybe a playful burbsona. Nothing else really rolls off the tongue for us, unfortunately. :,D
