Black Lives Matter and we need to start showing that
In all communities, even the furry community, these sort of problems run deep. So deep that we need to not be silent anymore because the silence is deafening. And the silence has been going on for decadesThere are many methods to use. There are many tasks to complete. Ultimately we all have to do our part. Because the violence against people come in different forms. The violence gets directed at different peopleBut these problems will affect us in some way eventuallyIt may have even affect us or our friends in such a way that we actively propagate suffering
It's time to do the right thing, before more people suffer

You can/should also make your own journals to help promote being a decent human being because humanity needs that solidarity right now
I have a footer and it's way to close to this other info. The footer is not the point nor helpful right now

I may be wrong, but my assumption with "calling for the deaths" is trying to say BLM is violent and wants death which isn't true.
When you live in a country that has literally enslaved and genocides many people, even allowing such things to happen to the present day, there will be some people who want revenge rather just justice. It's not a monolithic group, it's a decentralized gathering of people who just want to be treated like human beings
I don't nessecarily agree with the notion that America is an evil place, but speaking for this specific spark, George was murdered, everyone saw it, it was on film and the officers have been arrested and will hopefully face justice for their crimes. The destruction of property and violence seems to only burn good faith because it creates fear, which will make people beg for a heavy handed response.
Speaking of monolithic groups, that's why I didn't name BLM, or any "movement", I just know there's alot of angry people, and some of them think violence is the answer, some of them just want to be violent, hence I can only take away the broadest possible strokes.
This has happened many times before, there's a high chance without these protests nothing will happen, because historically cops have been let go or slapped on the wrist softly. Heck, riot police are out at the protests when covid protests just a but ago didn't have such backlash in the same capacity. His murder is 1 problem but is not the underlying problem. Cops enforce laws, laws that cause suffering so that they benefit the few. As much as the destruction of property is a real discussion, putting the focus on it as if property is more valuable than all the human lives lost/are suffering is disgusting. Stuff can be replaced. Lives and time can't. Peace is the best option when it works.
Sometimes the system doesn't make it work unless we all force peace to work. Otherwise you end up with:

The police sure use a lot of violence as the answer, and people seem to still regard them as out protectors. If broad strokes are taken, the police should be the villains of any movie and the protesters fighting against tyranny with some cool fires backdrops because lots of hero movies also use violence to solve problems.
Corporations got a bail out recently, have stagnated wages, and have bought out so many politicians that everyone just goes "ya that's how it is". A target being burned ain't sad, at most it's bad cause resources are lost. A police station is one of the centers that keeps such awful systems in place so it took is w/e
But let's be really clear, property damage doesn't override life. The violence from protesters (and kind of larpers?) is a response to future deaths. Because people will keep dying this way. This systems in place keep killing people. With no answers to give as to how we can solve it and with a culture that treats violence as the answer, this is the logical conclusion.
For the violent protesters, you should still have empathy for them while still saying "what you did was still wrong", just as you would have empathy for a family wanting the death chair for the person who murdered their child. It's wrong, but you can understand why that pain manifest itself as such
You can replace a building, you can't replace a life
You're absolutely wrong if you think violence is the answer. That's never solved our problems, it just gets other peoples' backs up and the message turns into suppressing violence.
You can focus on the main point of the protests and still go "hey property violence is bad". To solely focus on property damage is to put the blinders on. Most people can be reasoned with. Most have specific demands and fixes to complete. To think and announce that property damage is the main goal and to paint that as being the whole movement means the person was trying to look for a way to not discussion the underlying racism, history, and violence of our country. There's no way to put it more bluntly than that.
Violence is wrong but is a solution out of many. It does solve certain problems but in a way that is ultimately detrimental and not as effective as other means.
Historically, violence has put pressure on the powerful because people are only powerful if they're listened to or alive. Look at any of the slaves/enslaved countries and you'll quickly notice violence was used sometimes to reach their goal, but ultimately the ones that stayed around had other mechanism beyond violence because the main point was to stop slavery and have freedom.
You and I should be fully against violence, but we also have to realistic as to how people have maintained power and how people have distributed power. Powerful people don't like to give up their comfort, they are pressured too. Violence is a pretty common tool for that sadly.
If I said "hyper cocks are great" would you call that virtue signaling? As I am signaling that hyper cocks are great to hyper furries. No, you wouldn't. You'd see it as a silly thing or a whatever journal. I advertised my profitable sites constantly for profit on my main posts and I don't see a comment from you calling that "disingenuous"
There's thousands of watchers here. I want the world to be less shit. Why would I not make a message.
Being silent and doing nothing seems soulless and formulaic.
And Capitalize on what? You think a journal that only going out to current watchers is gonna get me some big ass reward or some shit? Wtf do you even mean "vent and express political views" Like what? Am I suppose to whine and cry about how I feel? "Boo whoo someone called me a racial slur again, I believe racism is bad" Fuck that. If I'm going to talk about politics on a old furry website it's gonna be because I want to get people to do something. Even if it fails, at least it's one more place for the chance to cause change.
If I wanted an ego boost, I'd just draw furry cock and nothing else lol.
Do better Maliper.
and cities are rendered useless, and the destabilization threat of the capital.
all I see is a disorganized group of thugs wanting to turn the U.S. into a fallout dlc pack. I still don't buy your snake oil you call "an authentic outcry."
While you are stroking your ego I'll be going towards the majority's side of the feild that are acturally comprised of sane people whom are also calling out people like you and on your distructive opitunitic B.S.
2. You could have taken the time to talk about real solutions or the actual problem, but you choose to focus on the riots. Cause let's be honest, how are these going:
- Unemployment
- Covid Deaths
- Infrastructure
- Everyone having a home
- Food Supply
- Equality of the law
- Cost of education
- Post Office
- Privacy
- USA Ally-ship
- and more
Bad, the answer is bad.
Also there's too many police violence videos & live streams to post. Just go to https://twitter.com/koorivlf if you wanna cry? Piss your pants maybe? Maybe shit and cum?
Fixed that.
I currently have little tolerance for going into a kind deep dive as to why people shouldn't be racist and shouldn't want a police state lol
You can't replace a life
You can say the riots are violent and sometimes hurt innocent peoples AND talk about the underlying issues here dealing with the racism, capitalism, and more.
Also I agree with mephyboy, boo whoo, the company that makes a huge bulk of wage theft in the country has to pay for products again :<
It's almost like... violence does something...
Almost like, we should make polices to benefit people's lives so that people don't become violent and have nothing to lose...
If only a person in history who got assassinated because people hated him for his ideas, talked about these sorts of ideas and was linked in this very journal...
Would you like to answer why the riots started?
How many people have died from police before the riot started?
Also the majority of the protests are peaceful then the riot police are deployed which causes people to be violent back cause tear gas and flash bangs hurt.
You're a libertarian, you should understand the idea of tyranny of the state and the "no steppy on me" thing
It's weird when people like you latch on to the violence of the government, but conveniently ignore it when it deals with property or the violence from state employees that don't affect your life.
Also would you like to discuss racism and police brutality in this country. Or do you want to continue creating a strawman that you can attack. Cause it seems like you're afraid of having a real discussion with a person who won't just roll over and die
George Floyd was murdered by a cop and other cops watched
You are creating a strawman, it's why you said "thus wanting a vague reason to loot" rather than what all the protesters are actually saying, WHEN THERE'S VIDEO OF THE COP MURDERING A PERSON.
Hey, let's play a game to see if you can handle problems without trying to create a strawman again or by going "I don't have to answer you" aka idk let's create a diversion so no one noticed I can't use google!
Tell me the definitions of:
- Capitalism
- Communism
- Anarchism
- Fascism
Maliper chooooose: "idk let's create a diversion so no one noticed I can't use google!"
Congratz, you're shit at debate. Your strawmen will still love you don't worry.
- Capitalism
- Communism
- Anarchism
- Fascism
That way we can have a convo about what anarchy means without us talking past each other
- Capitalism
- Communism
- Anarchism
- Fascism
Hey you know, maybe we should have never done the Boston Tea Riots, or Stonewall (you know that thing that gave you rights?)
We could use tech from the previous system that overproduces so much that we have to throw away food just so prices don't fall
Also the national guard is being called in cause the people don't believe in the government and the police are losing control which means people would uprise, which is what historically happens.
This isn't the first time this has happened if you read a history book lol
Yes people are going batshit crazy so the national guards are called in, that you are correct on that.
You incorrectly read my statement.
I said, the national guard is being called in cause people who don't believe in a government, create a new one. Violence is a tool to keep the old powers in check. First was the police, then it became the national guard, then it'll become the military, then you get a dictatorship like what has happen historically.
People not wanting to die and wanting a good life is a sane thought.
Thinking that people are batshit crazy using their 1st amendment rights to protest, when our forefathers threw tea off a boat to start a war with their guns, THAT IS BAT SHIT CRAZY. It's weird you're wanting people to be die from the state. Because when the people with guns get called, they're going to use their guns to solve the problem.
I wonder what the 2nd amendment is for...
The state killed a citizen with no recourse, the forefathers fought for "freedom". the 2nd amendment is to help protect the free state
So written in the constitution, is a mechanism for people to be violent in order to keep the state free
Even if that amendment wasn't in there, a person got fucking murdered by the state and all you can focus on is the small amount of people looting shit when there's a huge unemployment rate AND you think people should just accept citizens getting murdered with no recourse?
What's even your end goal?
- Capitalism
- Communism
- Anarchism
- Fascism
Or else it's obvious you don't know any modern politics and got your debating skills from 4chan or youtube
You should vote for bernie, then you can get the free education you need :3
The cops are using force to stop freedom of speech, and there are curfews as well
aka.... the rioters are just protesters that the state renamed as rioters because they didn't leave and wanted to express their 1st amendment rights lol
Most insurance does not cover riots like this. Theft, vandalism, yes. But they make specific exemption for riots.
Asking people to not attack those who had little to nothing to do with what they're angry about is not asking a huge amount. It's not setting a very high bar.
I have no patience for police attacking non-violent protesters. That shit doesn't fly with me. But burning the businesses and homes (in many urban districts, they are mixed) of people who were uninvolved is madness.
The abundance of video links are definitely somthing I'm going to share around, it seems to help drive the point home over a wall of text.
The more info about why people need to do better, the better!
There's over 200 documented cases of police attacking unarmed non-violent protestors just this week. https://twitter.com/greg_doucette/s.....556918273?s=20 We have to stand up for our first amendment rights and the disenfranchised. I am glad you're doing this along with so many other furs.
Ya, more people need to do this!
Maybe FA will even put up a fender note that helps promote this movement like their parent company IMVU did on IMVU's twitter
love your art
And ya it wasn't super productive, but it was a bit amusing.
I actually saw a video of a pastor who was trying to explain it to Christians about the BLM movement.
He described it as this.
Jesus: Remember we need to care for the weak and poor people.
Crowd: But Jesus all people matter!
Jesus: Yes I know but we need to help the weak & the poor first, they need the most help right now.

I'm glad you've liked my stuff for a while :3
As a non-us citizen, its am uncertain these protests will help racial tension as racism can be more of a cultural than its is of a religion or more importantly being raised into racism. ("I'm not racist but..." moments)it still is unacceptable. Being we are all differents, ideas and such will clash and mix. Creating either good or bad. Insult or love.
Even less sure that it's good to remember the murder of George Flyod being a good reason to cause riots and destructions of property. Even we know peace protesters being there. We will remember more of the burning buildings than the demonstrations in the streets.
As It stand, I dont know what solution could be effective in term of removing tensions for racism. We do need to limit ecochambers of not accepting other opinions. As some others journals on FA seems to be quite limited on only BLM OR DIE kinda journals. All sides must be considered at the end because more than just mr.Flyod life will be lost. Either metaphorically or physically.
The protests has actually helped make the topic of systemic racism unavoidable for many, which means people have to deal with the horrors of it. Aka, people have to deal with the underlying problem.
George Floyd is 1 out of many deaths. His name is shouted along with many others. It good to remember all of their names, although that's hard with how many people have been needlessly murdered by the police. If such people focus more on the building than the human lives, they will have always looked for something to avoid dealing with the issues. It's sad but true.
There are many ways to release tension. Make systems/laws/businesses more equal in practice & theory, more education for all, reparations, get rid of capitalism, and much more!
Just gonna be super clear, All sides should not be considered. That's like saying "the murder's side should be listened and they should be able to convince others to murder" Full stop, no. Racist don't deserve the opinion. We've seen where that ends. That mindset ends in genocide, slavery, fascism, and more suffering. Centrist-ing racism has been happening for centuries and like many old idea's we threw into the dumpster, this idea of race/racism is one we need to throw away sooner than later.
I don't have much to say other than that.
