I think the thing that makes me less interested in said monster dude is the one eye. I know the whole cycloptic thing puts a fair number of folks off characters, and I think it's the whole uncanny valley issue.

Eh, it's just a personal turn off. If you note, I'm entirely okay with multiple pairs of limbs or genetalia, but for some reason, facial oddities like monoeye or stuff like that just spook me.
