Just popping in to let peeps here on FA know what's going on in my life. I mostly update on Twitter on the daily, but I have not forgotten abt FA 🌸
I've been battling some art self-esteem issues I dont know why I keep having. I just keep feeling Im not really good enough. I miss therapy, but we dont have online calls or sessions for them here.
Drawing the Little Prince, my unicorn/deer Mahktob is helping tho <3 He helps me stave off my art insecurities because I feel safe exploring art with him as my subject. It's because of him I found a new joy in drawing different outfits and jewelry. For the first time in a long time, I actually enjoy personal art. I hope to build my art self esteem with him enough to tackle what Id dearly love to draw....sci-fi!
And speaking of sci-fi...
I have *not* forgotten Under Eden (previously titled This War of Ours). Far from it. I may not show much, but I am actively writing it. It's underwent some SERIOUS restructuring, as I want it the best it can be for publishing. The outline is almost 100% done, Im writing Chapter 2 already. The story starts at a point very different from the original I posted here on FA, but it will give more insight into Aelinore as a character...and her connection to the mystery that is Under Eden.
Work comes slow cos I'm a work-at-home mom and taking care of a toddler while trying to write/draw is.....tough :'D Im hoping to get some more help in childcare so I can give a bit more focus to work, cos damn I miss earning money 😭😭😭
