A little thank you note
It’s been about half a year since I started uploading stuff so I think it’s time for a little self-reflection! It’s a little bewildering to me how quickly time has passed, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed creating these silly old pieces of art to share with others.
Firstly, I want to lead with a sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s following me, from the new followers & to those who have been here since the very beginning. Thank you for your favourites, your kind comments and your support. Sincerely, thank you! I certainly seem to get the most comments here on FA and everyone is so supportive. I've received over 500 favourites now which seems like a rather absurd number to me!
I feel like I should probably be interacting with the community more. Though I am still somewhat aloof in real life, this community is rather welcoming. Art will still be the main thing I post, but I could probably do with a showing a little bit of warmth otherwise I’ll probably give off the impression of being an ice queen. No idea what to even post though but I imagine I'll get more comfortable as I do it.
Uploads might change slightly as I felt my quality was dropping with quite a few of the Kobold drawings when I was doing the Heartbeat flower series at the same time. I’m going to probably stick with only one “big” drawing each week, probably on Thursdays & other days will have simpler drawings. I want to throw in more doodle-esque drawings to show off my character’s personalities and relations a little more as that’s my favourite part of my characters. So, I’m looking to start an Ask Blog for Heartbeat which can hopefully do just that. I was considering it for the Kobold Party too but I’m not certain an Ask Blog fits them all that well compared to, say, a comic? I'm not entirely sure yet.
If you have any feedback on things you like to see then I would love to hear it too! I do have an idea for the next mini Kobold Party series of images (something rather different!) & a larger Heartbeat series similar to the flower series (well, it is summer after all...)
Commissions are something I’m very much looking into so hopefully that will be coming in the near future if you’re interested. I’ve never done any sort of commission work before so I’m not entirely confident in doing it, so if you do get one in the future, please be patient with me! I’ll be doing my best. Hopefully with less intensive uploads I can demonstrate my skill a little bit better & grow my audience more too. I also do want to do a “Thank-you” sort of raffle in the future too. So, a tentative idea is to have a double raffle going on, one for previous followers & one open to new followers. It’s a work in progress so don’t hold me to that.
I’ve rambled on long enough now. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read & if you have any feedback or anything else, I would love to hear it!
Thank you all so much!

FA+

Anyways, great to see that you made so many positive experiences with this site, I really can't judge how it must be to be an artist because I'm not one and I'm myself very new. I'm excited to see what you'll post, I'll be there.
It truly is a very welcoming community. I still feel rather new as an artist but it does give me encouragement for the future. Thank you very much for your continued support, I hope I can continue to create things for you to enjoy!
But seriously, I've been here since 2012, and FA has been like a second home for me where I met great friends, artists, and was able to create and grow my fursona (and even getting my own fursuit!)
I hope you do start to take commissions in the future as I always liked your artwork ever since you drew fanart of Beastars
I'm so glad to have found your page and really enjoyed seeing your art these past 6 months and hope to see more great artwork in the future.
That's incredibly encouraging to hear. There are so many wonderful people in this community and I hope we both can have many more positive experiences in the future.
Ah that seems so long ago now. I must admit I'm slightly excited at the idea of comissions so hopefully I can get that all sorted as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your support (since right near the very beginning no less!), your encouraging words do mean a lot to me!
