I decided to recreate an FA page, just to give myself a try and start anew with my original content this time.
Eventhough I apologized once, I'm gonna remark that the critiques have helped me to push myself to become a better artist.

Time went by and said person had used other's artwork enough that he made his own style with it. Albeit very similar to the artist's he "borrowed" from, I see that as a plus when said artist passes on, retires, etc.
This person is now respected and we'll known after what happened and probably less 25% of his fans/watchers know about this story.
This story came to mind after I saw what happened to you. I think it would be a shame if it didn't end up on a good note like the person I talked about.
