A reminder about fake accounts

Just a regular reminder to be on the watch out for fake profiles. Currently I do NOT have a twitter account, I might make one in the future but in that case it will be directly linked here, untill then i've had a notice written right there in big red letters right on my profile for years. Similar about Discord and Telegram - there is a countless amount of Discord and TG profiles out there trying to parade as me or using my art as their profile pics. My Discord ID and Telegram links are right there in the open on my profile, verify with them if you're not sure if whoever you are chatting with is actually me or not.
I am writing this now because I personally encountered a few cases already where some furs saw something said or tweeted by a fake account (especially if its politics related), and because outrage culture is so popular and so hip nowadays, those furs went on trying to spread drama and shit about me. While it was not even me who said the original thing IN THE FIRST PLACE, which should've been super obvious if said furs spent 1 single minute to look into if the account they saw is actually original me or not. But who has the time for that nowadays, right? /s
Be vigilant, and do not instantly believe everything you see on the internet without taking a minute to verify it. Should've been obvious, but here we are. If you have any questions or concerns to discuss with me, my Discord and TG info is right there as I said earlier, open for anyone to add.

But yeah, it’s a major issue. Morons who use your account and claim the credit for it need to be cancelled.

And sadly, It can't be avoided at this point, since the community seem to reward people for "Uncovering drama" where there is no drama...
I mean at the end of the day you be a guy with a shark avatar, not some head of serious enterprise or anything particular that could be of any real gain to some person damaging your reputation with political posts and stuff.
Oscar Wilde once said "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." But frankly I am just glad I can be myself without having to fear to be copied.
That aside, I'll be sure to keep watch for any fakes and let you know.
For me, this incident started when a few friends that notified me that someone was impersonating my character on Twitter. On top of that, the impersonator even commissioned art of my character and changed his name to suit their insidious intentions. Looking at someone else RP as your character using a different name and stake ownership over its designs felt really weird! So I got into contact with the artist who drew for them and did a few DMCA takedown on the impersonator before they could fester a bad reputation.
I'll help out too and keep an eye out for anyone trying to impersonate you. These things tend to happen a lot nowadays sadly.
