Curious question

So I was wondering about this the other day, but what if FA added the ability to filter out pictures you don't want to see? Not like a site wide filter, just a personal thing you can enable in your settings to not see stuff you don't like cause, well, we all know not everyone would be into every kink, but there's a fair number of people who still want to see the NSFW work. I personally would love that, mostly cause I am a dork who really doesn't like really gory pics.
(Quick run down of what "Metatags" are, basically they are the keywords used to collect results on search engines and thusly the more you describe your page with metatags the more views you can get.)
Alternatively, they could also have it so it also plays on the Art Category filter that you commonly see on the submission info cause a lot more people would use those informations too. No clue if that many people actually do use the categories correctly, but still would add an extra layer.
EDIT: What do you think, Bizz? Let's get some ideas flowing and possibly get FA to notice and think about this.
Edit: Also why the hell pokemon and Digimon are in specialities (fetish) and in species
Or FA can just maybe reverse roles of description and keywords so that you can post art without description but you have to put at least one or two things in keywords
Also, I feel like the description is too important to just remove, honestly. I do like the idea of being required to have certain keywords and what not, but I feel like implementing something specific to just make people want to use keywords more would be better.
Likewise, what if there was, going off that requirement of a certain specialty tab, just that for if you choose mature or adult for your art type you are required to label if it contains any certain fetish material.
Also, I got two things that maybe help this a little bit
1-Maybe just put a sentence above the keyword tab that says something like "If you put more keywords on your art people will find it easier".
2-Put speciality tab under Submission Rating that depending on the rating gives you different specialities example:
General-Pokemon, Digimon, Paw
Mature-Everything from the previous one pulse some new
Adult-Similarly to the mature
Your next line is "Ok but the specialities can be different from each other like one can be SFW and other NSFW plus they can have multiple specialities in it!"
And to that I have a solution lets simply put multiple tabs with specialities example:
Let say I made an art of one of my OC being overweight so speciality will be fat furs right yes but this OC also has a huge bulge so it also qualifies to be hyper and because of this I can't change back to general or mature depends if it has clothes or not. This would also make so that fat furs and hyper would automatically put them to the keyword tab.
Edit: Yes I know this has some flaws but filtering something like that isn't easy I mean e621 got a similar problem it's not the system it's the people fault for not putting keywords or correct Submission rating
I feel like the multi-tab system would be a given. lol
But yeah, ideas like this would be so nice to improving this art website to make it more... hmm... let's say welcoming. lol
I wanted to report some dude who posted his IRL nudes (disgusting) but I couldn't find anything related to stuff like this.
But that is another curious thought is of nudes. you can draw nudity and sexual content all you want, but when it reaches reality that is quite against the site due to... well... This is an art site, not PH. lol
I do feel like it would be nice to have a solid way to say "hey mods, you may wanna look at this" but, well, this being the site it is that will more than likely invite trolls to come in and flag furries and spam shit, but that is another story. lol
But yeah, I do hope FA sees this cause the filter idea is quite an intriguing one that I have wanted for quite a while.
But when it comes to the filtering system maybe we could send some tickets linking to this conversation just saying.
Also thank you for talking with me about this topic it was pretty funny thinking of ideas on how to make this work.

If you want I can post this there.
Like, I have a lot of artists who I really enjoy the art of, but... well... some kinks aren't for everyone. lol
