BRIEF OVERVIEW
My art focuses on creatures and non-human characters. My particular area of speciality is anything monstrous. Payment is upon completion, with downpayments only required for specialised pieces like illustrations. All prices are per subject and additional charges for complexity may apply. General Tiers
Sketch [$15 - $15 - $20] All sketches slightly refined, no rough gestures, and are white filled or with rough flat colours.
Clean Line [$20 - $25 - $35] Cleaned, refined linework, white filled or with refined flat colours. This tier is commonly selected for reference images or standalone pieces.
Rendered [$35 - $50 - $60] Fully rendered images with cleaned, refined linework, full colours, and painterly shading as demonstrated here or a more stylized version upon request.
Specialised Tiers
Pricing on these specialised tiers are subjective and will vary piece by piece. Each bracket indicates starting rate and maximum possible cost.
Illustration [from $70 - $100] These pieces are finely detailed painterly style and the end result is print quality. This price is inclusive of basic backgrounds or environments. These pieces may vary from simple illustrations to complex ones. Previous illustration experience includes article feature pieces and natural history.
Concept work [from $70 - $100] The aim of this work is to take a creature or character from a concept and produce an image that can be used as a reference point for future works. Previous clients have utilised this to overhaul an old character or develop a creature from concept sketches. This is not a tier to create a character or creature from scratch. Expressions of interest for this tier must still meet the basic reference requirements outlined below.
Add ons
Backgrounds [+$5 - 15] Backgrounds may be added to any level. They range from basic to complex. Basic backgrounds are simple and loose and may involve vague shapes or rough gradients. Complex backgrounds are more refined landscapes.
Monotone render [+$5] Take any piece at a general tier and add a simple monotone rendered version. Rendering is basic painterly shading, without a background.
