I will be working "Baxter Park Response Weekend" with Dirigo Search and Rescue the weekend of July 24th.
Hoping people play safe, but if this past weekend is any indication, we might be busy.
Dirigo SAR is all volunteer and recieves no funding from the state. Those of us that are going to be working there that weekend will be paying for our own meals and likely providing our own shelter since we still aren't sure about using the cabins with this whole 'social distance' thing.

yup and that's the old H model... single engine, and a twin bladed main rotor. I love riding in those, especially when someone might happen to accidently leave the cabin doors open. We were flying the UH-1 N (twin Huey) when i was in the Corps back in the early 90's which had twin engines and a two bladed main rotor. Now the Corps is flying the Yankee model (UH-1 Y) with twin engines, a four bladed main rotor and pretty much and all glass cockpit.

More big brass balls hanging on that rope than I have.

Just more brass for them to polish at the academy. As if there aren't enough bells, brass door kicks and other such crap to slather brasso on.

Yuppers, and you can just use the big threaded quick links from the chain isle in place of carabiners.
