Question - Leather Pattern Book?
I am considering putting together a book of patterns for the various leather creatures and pouches that I make that would allow people to make their own versions of them.
I am curious if that would be something people would be interested in. The book would also include pictures of various parts at different stages of progress, as well as tips and tricks for leather working.
If there is interest, I will also explore translating the leather patterns into fabric patterns since I know fabric is a more common material for these sorts of things than leather.

I have no opinion on this question but I hope you've been ok over there on your end.
I can't recall when the last time is I chatted with you.
I live on my own now. I got a fursuit finally. I became a godfather to my nephew.
The virus did not stop me from working since pest control work is deemed essential.
I'm in the anti-lockdown crowd and seem to be in the minority among my piers.
I've been playing GTA5 and discovered it to be a far more virtuous game than I anticipated.
I'm now reading a book called The Last Crusade which details the Spanish Civil War.
I guess that's just some of what has been occurring in my life.
Moving out and living on your own definitely makes life more interesting.
The virus stopped me and my mate from working for a while, until our employer figured out telework. Telework had been in pilot program status for a long while, the virus mess provided the much needed kick to get it through the bureaucratic red tape.
We are also in the anti-lockdown crowd. We were definitely in the minority at work. It was really strange sitting in the eye of the proverbial storm and realizing that the hysteria was more dangerous than the virus. The one good thing to come out of it is a far greater suspicion of the Chinese government...including among its own citizenry.
I am curious what you mean about GTA5 being more virtuous game than you were anticipating. My mate played it a few years ago, I definitely got an honor-among-thieves vibe.
Sounds like an interesting book. The Spanish Civil War is a neglected bit of history, particularly as a testing ground for many of the weapons and tactics later seen in WW2.
I confess I've been very disappointed in a lot of my piers who I otherwise look up to. I'm learning who I can and cannot count should I be defending a hilltop in a battle. Oh well. I understand even I have my flaws.
Yeah, GTA5 was surprising to me. I just got done playing Witcher 3 which is basically full of evil characters. GTA5 so far has mostly been about characters who are great sinners who have moments where the grace of God touches their lives and showing that even the most bad people can have moments of redemption. Like the main character Michael is constantly trying to stop his daughter from hanging out with bad crowds. He's a hypocrite but he's clearly trying. I notice stuff like that.
As for the Spanish Civil War I've been learning that it's eerily similar to what has been happening in the US recently before the war broke out but that's a topic for another time.
Sure, advise the elderly and high risk people to stay home, ramp up messaging about washing hands and wearing face masks (something I have long thought would be a good idea to help control the common cold) and convince businesses to increase delivery and curbside options. Otherwise keep to business as usual.
Interesting, not what I would have expected from such a game.
I am going to need to look into that then. I am a great believer in the idea that those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it. Then again, lately knowing about the history of 100+ years worth of Russian/Soviet Disinformation has had me wanting to scream, because watching the media acting like this is something new is really frustrating.
Try reading The Last Crusade by Warren Carrol. The Spanish Civil War is one of the most lied about wars in history. People often try to eclipse the conversation by saying Franco was a fascist and that's all you need to know. And that's not really true. He was just on the opposing side against the new communist government and since he won the war he's seen as the aggressor. He did have to become a dictator to force out all communist influence and may have gone too far in some places but it wasn't for want of power or for fascism.
I am decently familiar with the politics of Spanish Civil War. Yes, Franco's side got help from Nazi Germany but I seem to remember other powers also sent support to Franco, including countries that would fight on the Allies side in WW2. As near as I can tell, it was a mix of "enemy of my enemy" and chance to test new equipment and tactics against a possible future enemy equipment and tactics, with all the help the Soviets were giving Franco's opposition.
I have always found it strange that the pop-culture history forgets to mention that the Soviets sent equipment and personnel to help the Spanish communists...including NKVD/KGB/whatever they were called that year. It was a good place to practice making people "disappear". A book titled The Sword and The Shield has a rather in depth section on their activities during the Spanish Civil War.
