Boy, things sure have gotten quite busy here in Speedyland. Hey everyone. How's it going?


I should probably talk about some stuff to keep everyone a bit updated here for anyone curious and for anyone that has commissioned me and is seeing a bit of silence.

So first thing's first! If I haven't talked about it yet, I'm expecting another baby with  rar1990 very soon! Yes, we're having a 2nd child, and she'll be born this month. :D

I've been trying to knock out any work I have left and taking a small vacation to collect myself and spend time with the next child as well as our 1st. Which brings me to the next thing I wanted to talk about (mostly for anyone that has commissioned me)


My cintiq companion bit the dust! Fantastic! I hate it... I almost got it wired up to take power again, but some solder ended up getting on the pins of the SSD connection reader, and now it's not recognizing the SSD. The SSD's still good though, so I saved a bunch of work files that were on there. Good for me and the Mrs. If anyone does have a spare cintiq companion they aren't using cause it's borked, let me know? :D I ended up buying a cintiq companion 2, which has arrived today, and I'm almost done getting it setup for my own liking here. Will try and resume work once I can.


I don't know what kind of delays this will bring as far as art goes. I've been posting more on my twitter, which even that has been lacking in art. Oof. I'll just need to spend time posting stuff soon I guess. Mostly comm stuff.


Speaking of! So I've been needing to turn some people down in regards to commissions, or haven't gotten back to some to say that I'm a bit swamped (oops!). My work load is still a bit hefty, and taking like, 5 days off just to try and fix the cintiq companion really sucked. Once I'm done with my last set of images owed, I wanted to take a break. At the rate all this is going though, I will probably open again around late July/early August. Will do an ad and a journal as usual for when I'm ready.


Uy...I think that might be everything? I'm sorry for the lack of consistent art being posted here. Having to deal with being swamped with work kinda makes me forget I need to post things.
