Furries and Metal

I noticed that almost all of the profiles I've seen list Metal as a favorite music. Is there a correlation to being a furry and enjoying metal music? I'm hardly seeing any relation. I don't particularly care for it, except maybe European folk metal. Fur is soft; metal is hard. My guess is it could be a yin-yang thing; opposites may be necessary for there to be balance in one's life. Any thoughts?
