I really enjoy metal music because it's simply so good. It really depends on what kind of metal you listen to, but there's so much different types of "metal" so I think there must be something for everyone - we even have Christmas songs sang by metal artists (Finland, called "Raskasta Joulua")

I'm not sure if there's any correlation between being a furry and liking metal, or if metal has gotten more mainstream over the years 🤔

I like metal, especially folk metal, but I see no correlation with the furry fandom.

I'm more of a dj club music lover. There's not much or totally nothing i like with metal.
If you look further what spiecies of furs like metal i think you'll discover more interesting results.

I was into metal long before I was a furry, and I think there's a certain aspect to each that are in a way a means of expressing oneself in a unique manner, 'cause in the end metal music and furry art are both forms of art at the end of the day. I personally prefer metal as I find the musicians to be rather skilled and I appreciate that. Also metal is very high energy, at least the metal I listen to, so it gives me a boost, makes me happy.
