Finally able to breathe financially

A few days ago, I got a phone message from my local Congress-critter's office. My dad had called him because my federal tax refund had been taking longer than usual to be processed even though it was filed electronically. My refund was finally put into my account on Thursday! It will be nice to be financially stable for a while.
The refund will help me meet one of my New Year's resolutions: to eliminate at least 15-20% of my debt. Right now, I'm at around 13-14%.

Oof, and this is why I got no credit cards - only debit cards. Also it helps that I live in Canada.
