So, because of how lengthy this journal is, I will break it down in some categories:
INTRODUCTION
Last time I posted a journal was... 2 years ago. YIKES
However, that doesn't mean I'm dead as some of you may know. Been posting quite a handful of commissions and YCH auctions in 2020 and that's due to being blessed of having a job. :3
JOB
So yeah, like I said previously, I have a job now (started in January 2020) and I actually really like it. After graduating pure Maths with First Class Honours back in 2019, I tried to look for jobs in my domain and MAN is it difficult to find something that's more in the area of statistics in entry level. Most companies want someone that has at least 10-15 years worth of experience and works minimum wage AND THEN they have the fucking guts to COMPLAIN about employees. (Saw this in Romanian news about companies complaining about employees and shit and it made me FURIOUS.)
Anyway, I work as a Data Analyst and man not only was I lucky to have it in the bag BEFORE this whole pandemic crisis happened BUT I was also lucky enough to ACTUALLY ENJOY what I'm doing. So that's a win-win for me :3
COVID-19 TESTING
But this isn't a journal to vent/rant or anything of the sort. Nah, this journal is mostly to let you know that I am now working, me and my family are doing alright, I've been randomly selected to get tested for COVID-19 (which was AWFUL to take. Seriously, the way you have to take the test is really uncomfortable and painful.) and I am NEGATIVE for COVID-19.
EUROVISION MOVIE
I've also watched the Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga movie and I'll just say this: I'd rather stab my throat with a fucking toothpick than EVER see that movie again .
Seriously, do not bother with that movie unless you REALLY want to suffer. Props to the people that created the song "Husavik". It's the ONLY positive thing about the movie.
OTHER
Ever since I saw so many amazing commissions and artworks I've always wanted to commission artists and get art myself but prior to 2020, it was really difficult for me as I had no job in order to get commissions.
But now, I am a big boy, got my own job and ready to hunt for commissions.
Oh yeah, I am also 24 now... Why do I feel so old?
