Do you think theres a way to remove the limitation to playback speed in the atcualy OC1.1 program? we have noticed that the program usually sits on a defined speed during palyback regardelss on the speed of a machine. But that might be asking a bit much.
Im gonna use your new proggie to host a couple 24 hour servers over the next few days.
Another little thing that i dont see mentioned in the helpme. e have found that when in extended user mode, ANY person useing the undo function will undo the last event from ANY users. That been, not only will an undo command undo your last line, but the last EVENT. regardless of who created it ^^
Thats all.
Thanks again bro!!!
do you ahve MSN, id like to talk with you some about all this ^^
So oC's got a fixed speed. That's what I was trying to fix in the latest update with quick event caching, but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it directly.
Also, yes, extended user mode means people can undo on any layer they want to. That's consequence of how it works. That's also why there's layer locking :).
MSN is bob_x9 at hotmail.
I'm also curious if there's a quicker way to playback a very very long save file, must it be watched from the beginning once loaded? or does the quick event caching help that.
And additionally, is there a way to create a checkpoint?
Thanks very much again for all your improvements and for all the effort bro.
*hug*
Anyway, yeah, quick recovery is supposed to help with that, but if you're loading a file there's basically nothing you can do. Quick recovery only helps when someone is joining the server.
As far as creating a checkpoint, just /save then /clear :)
it wouldent have to be a high quality jpg. but figuring someway to create a new background layer in any new users canvas would eliminate the event loading issues. maby SOME way to do it. some sneaky way to jam an extra layer with a jpg into a session.
