Wow, yeah. I mean, I wasted so much time when I was 1, what was I thinking? I mean, even when I was 5 I wasn't already working...

Hell, at 15 I still didn't have a full time job...

Considering if you go to college to get a degree for a better middle wage job most people are about 24 when they finish college. And then get a good paying job at 25 usually. So people who are in middle class probably spent 25 years working to be able to live a middle class life in the US at least.

Would it help to realize that base 12 is a much more natural numbering scheme? Divisible by 2, 3, 4, and 6 instead of just 2 and 5, and it shows up in our earlier languages all over the place.
