Hoooly heck. Double Trouble is great. I love their design (the GREEN (no bias, I promise), their toothy grin, their reptilian eyes, elf-ish ears, tail, their voice!).. and just their sassy, confident personality :) smh, I wish I knew the name of their species...
My youngest sister has watched it 2 or 3 times by the time I watched it as well. After we had a lot of conversations on it, and at times jumped into the lore and wondering if it was somehow connected to the original or if it was completely disconnected from it.
Good convos :> I watched it with my partner, we speculated a lot on what'll happen and the meaning behind some stuff... alas, neither of us have seen the original ;)
Her and I haven't either, only a He-Man and She-Ra Christmas crossover. We instead grilled our mom on what she could remember from the show, from when she watched it as a kid lol
I am amazed how much they built up upon what was, admittedly, a pretty flat property who's only purpose at the time was selling toys. I especially loved Scorpia; from a flat villain to a character with dimension and an utterly adorable goof.
I admit I wish we could have gotten more scenes with Kyle, Lonnie and Rogello and what they did after they left the Horde as well as more of Tung Lasher and what happened to him. But those are minor quibbles, since the core of the show is strong.
I'd especially like to see more of Kyle and Rogello I missed their budding romance when I was watching
But yeah, Scorpia ended up being Pan and I's favorite character :> Hmmm... but Double Trouble is good too, but mostly due to their design.. argh. Such a great cast!
Yeah they were adorable :D Actually it would have been neat to have seen what the other horde soldiers would do when the Horde ceased to be. And poor Tung D: I loved that hot biker jacket lizard. :o
Double Trouble succeeded where SU's non binary character failed; by being an actual character with presence and payoff :p
Probably at first lol
