I took a few in the past and I'm quite done with taking alternate /duel commission payment.

Such as, paying for half the commission and paying the rest off with art or character designs.
I'm sorta just done with that cause in the end I never receive the other half of what is owed to me and if I do it's always two or more months after the commission is finished. It's not like I can wit-hold the commission piece from you either, that would just be a bad business practice. I also don't particularly like nudging people to do their part/ get things done, because I shouldn't have to remind someone when it's not my responsibility.

I do wit-hold art if it's an art trade, because of past experiences with people snaking free art out of me by saying they want an art trade. And that's fine because it's not paid art. Other than that I can't just wit-hold art from a paying client.

I also need to stick up for myself more, I'm tired of people taking advantage of the things I do :,.
