As far as i know it was already mentioned in few fanfics already and even in one youtube video as a possible theory, but it's good that somebody is still spreading awareness around.

I'll do so too because a lotta new points turned up within the comment section. Tbh, the only theory I saw on YT was Lockstin & Gnoggin's which, tbh, was bullshit, mainly because he treated the theory like canon fact in his last sentences and the other one I read was written by a guy banned from the lore section of the official subreddit and it also was total bs.

That theory is the only one which actually takes lore and mechanics from the game rather than to just speculate which is no bueno in Theoryland.

That with the venom sacs in fanfiction... well... I'm guilty myself because I also believed them to be venom glands, it's canon for Make Love not War but not within the games context. I'll link the video when it's out, should be just a few hours from now on.

Well yeah they didn't try to implement any lore to it but the statement was exactly the same and even without deep analysis of the lore it was pretty believable. Ye the yt vid might mediocre i can agree. Can't wait for the vid man :) and cheers no problem.

Yeah, about the video, 'few hours' turned into 'two days', it's so hot that I'm too lazy to write, draw or record, on top I'm in the process of reconstructing my German channel BUT the script is there, now I only need to record it and cut the video so expect it soon, I even added more points than originally intended.

The definitive answer is still no, they aren't glands (quiet possibly they're lungs tho).
