About the process
- I will always show a Work In Progress after the sketch is done. At this point you are free to ask for as many alterations as you like. Whether they are big or small.
- I try to take my time to finish the artwork, so the end result won’t look rushed. This will mean that finishing commissions can sometimes take quite a while. This also means that I won’t work with deadlines.
- You have to ask if you want more WIPS. Asking for extra WIPS is free. I may be still able to make minor alterations at this point.
- When the commission is done, you will get a full resolution version of the commission for personal use. ( for traditional artwork this will be a scanned version of around 4000x6000 pixels). You will also get a smaller version with a watermark which you can re-upload if you wish.
About payment
- All prices in this journal are in US dollars.
- All payments will be done using PayPal. I will also accept bank transfers if you live in The Netherlands.
- Payment must be upfront. (but please only pay after I have accepted the commission)
- You can get a 75% refund if you cancel the commission during the sketch phase.
- You will not get a refund if you cancel the commission after you have already approved of the sketch.
- If I have to cancel the commission myself for any reason you can get a full refund.
Rights for the commissioned work
- I will not use your commission to sell prints, unless you specifically state that you want me to sell prints of the commission.
- You are allowed to re-upload commissioned work as long as you credit me as the artist
- You may make minor alterations to the artwork (for example eye colour)
- You may make major alterations to the artwork, but you may not upload said altered artwork.
- You may not use the artwork for profit.
Things I will not draw
- Copyrighted Characters
- Sexual themes involving minors
- Themes that positively portray any form of discrimination
- Scat
- Detailed backgrounds
- Animations
Other than these subjects, I'm happy to discuss any other subjects.
Subjects that might influence the quality of the final product
These are subjects that I have difficulty drawing. I will try my best to make them look good. But keep in mind that it might influence the quality of the artwork.
- Very humanoid faces
- Highly stylized characters (for example mlp and sonic oc's)
- Characters with large wings
