One of the things that I've missed a lot lately is having someone to be excited about furry things with. The friend I do have that's excited about the fandom has been busy with studies and having moved in with her beau, and my other friends either tolerate it but aren't really interested in learning too much more, or just aren't interested. While I may be quiet in this fandom, it still means a lot to me. Has for years. And it sucks having lost the one person I knew would be jazzed when I showed her a really great piece of art.
