I have had that happen to me.. My old fursona was supposed to have a cute lil bunny face and she was drawn as a cat, dog, horse, weird colored human with a really wide nose and even a goddamn WOMBAT. So I gave up on my character and that was one of the reasons, I couldnt handle it anymore.

So this is why I am super picky with who I commission for art of my fursona too, I look at the muzzles an artist makes very closely before deciding anything.

There isnt an easy fix to all of this because it is actually very crushing. I am sorry you are going through it..

Yeah I'm quite picky too and I always check out the way they draw canines first to make sure, it's nothing against the artists because the work is still so wonderful it's just a hard spot to be in! Most of my sonas have been fine but for some reason my newest main girl gets so much confusion, I'm hoping her new ref sheet will help
