Thoughts and Updates

Hey, everyone! Things have been crazy this year, all things considered. Thankfully, my family and I have been playing it safe and none of us have ended up catching the virus. And my work also hasn't been impacted too hard! I've almost caught up on my commissions list, and I think I'll be reopening them on a limited basis before too long. ^_^
On that topic; I'll be moving soon, so I'll be slowed for a while, but I think I'll be able to manage two or three commissions at a time. I want you to know ahead of time that I do work slowly, but I can assure you that it's to give you the best possible work that I can manage. I've also decided to change up my prices, so I'll give you an update on those as soon as I've settled on it.

And an update on my comic: It is officially in progress! It's moving a bit slowly because I'm experimenting with some new techniques for it, but I am personally loving the way it's turning out. If you want to catch some more updates on it more often, you can follow me on Twitter—I'm more active there than I am here—or on Patreon. I upload my random doodles and sketches to both of these, so I think they're worth a follow.
Back on topic; the comic will be a bit different than what most of you are likely used to seeing. I'll be using painting techniques in it as opposed to the usual flat color and cell shade often used in the digital comic industry. I've discovered that I really like the way it looks with Clip Studio's gouache brush, so I think I'll be using that. If you have any suggestions in that department, feel free to drop them in the comments. ^_^
