Dogbomb And Sarah Day

I was going to post this last night so that it would be up all day for everyone to see. Instead I'm posting it tonight when the day's nearly over. Otter, FOCUS!
On this day in 2010,
dogbomb was out walking in his famous Beastcub Gshep fursuit. As he went along the pier at his local beach, he noticed a girl in a wheelchair, Sarah. She couldn’t move very much, but she could smile. She smiled at Dogbomb. He was moved by her smile to let her hold “the big doggy’s” paw and nuzzle his chest. She did not want to let go right away, so he stayed and let her hold hands for as long as she liked.
At last she’d had enough. As Dogbomb was leaving, Sarah’s mother explained the situation to him. Sarah had advanced cerebral palsy. Her mind was sharp, but her body failed her, as he had seen. Yet she had learned to express her appreciation to her caretakers in small ways, as she had with him.
Later, he wrote about the experience in his FurAffinity journal.* The post went viral. The fandom was so moved by the incident that Dogbomb became a spiritual leader and a considered voice in our little community.
Sometimes it only takes a little thing to make a big difference.
