Art/themes/Feedback
So recently I've been drawing lots of art of my wolf oc with another artist's character in some NSFW themes. My only reason is that i hardly see any Wolf/Doe art in certain positions. So i decided to make it appear and I've enjoyed it so far.
But i feel like I'm doing too much of it, and my art doesn't look as good when it comes to making an effort in shading and all that stuff.
I want to know what other kinds of themes would catch more attention and how i can make shading make my art pop out, especially in NSFW scenes. And also find any other female characters i can try to experiment on.

I'm not sure how relevant this post is considering the length of time from posting the journal. I'm a new watcher to your art (thank you for the favs)!
The NSFW elements aside I like what you are doing so far. You're exploring things that interest you. I didn't start actively drawing anthro characters until around 2017, when I was around 27 years old, so I'm happy that you started now at your age so that you have plenty of time to grow and adapt to new styles. You have certainly come a long way since joining and posting in 2014 and that should be commendable.
I felt something similar when I first started drawing. I focused pretty heavily on the NSFW elements and was very conflicted with what path or direction I wanted to take with my art. I really flip-flopped back and forth. Currently, I still like to do NSFW art but I tend to refrain from drawing outright sex and instead settling for "sexy situations" or just nude characters doing and activity or in some sort of situation. However, my main focus has always been to draw more emotional art.
I still draw nsfw art, but the more nsfw specific is posted in a more nsfw gallery vs my main gallery which while does have nsfw art but is much less sex focused.
The point being, you will probably develop this naturally as you continue to create. The purely pessimistic view would be for me to say to focus on NSFW art but especially with fanart creation (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) as that artwork tends to get the most views, attention, and feedback. However, the more optimistic view would be to focus on what you enjoy doing, be it either nsfw or sfw and just to be consistent.
If you throw a "curve ball" and draw a scene that is unnecessarily controversial amidst artwork with an entirely different theme or focus than what you normally draw it can be confusing for the viewers and can sometimes lead to dissatisfaction with the art.
I did this with some of my more violent bloody scenes. My intention was to convey a story that while is relevant to the character development, I think also damaged much of my "popularity" with the user base. You can see this often in my gallery. You'll see some sexy, cute, emotional art and then BAM! Violence and blood! Then back to sexy, cute, emotional art. I don't regret what I did, but I am certain it may have hurt my image. So consistency is very important.
With that said, for me at least, whether I become popular / gain attention or not is irrelevant to me. I draw what I want to draw and I have many interests be it cute, sexy, sad, or violent. It really depends on how I am feeling at the moment when I create art as I use it as means to express myself. Ultimately my goal is to create a story. If it becomes popular that'd be cool. But it's not my main concern. I just want to create a story and leave something behind or regret it for the rest of my life.
If people want to follow me or not is their choice. I appreciate any feedback I receive and am very thankful for my the followers and attention, but my main focus isn't to be recognized necessarily.
I for one greatly enjoy the art of your character Sebastian in more of the sfw story-driven scenes, but your nsfw art is good too. We need more wolf/doe art! lol
As for shading, I like what I see so far. However, I'd be more than happy to give feedback on your art and even share with you some documents via dropbox that I use to help with anatomy and understanding sharing. Send me a note if you wish. I also use discord a lot for ease of communication.
Anyway, I am really impressed with your art and look forward to more of your creations.
Cheers!
