Well, if money is the root of all evil then the roots must have originated from a seed, the seed of evil. And we’ve all (mostly all anyway) heard the expression “the seed of an idea”. Also, the father Buddha said “with our thoughts we make the world”. so I can only conclude that this seed of evil stems from human kind and represents all that is greedy, shallow, cruel, and petty about us.
