(Update from previous entry)
First light-up test since I got the new motherboard. New Power Supply Unit (PSU, A Rosewill Hercules 1600w) and it should be no problem. However I suspected it might be trouble when it would NOT even try to power up. It has not so Now I have to get a NEW PSU again. I'm not a cheapskate (anymore) and I will not get anything less than 1200W (My last was 1250W), given the new Video card (2070Super RTX) I'm not skimping like I normally would. I can't.
So I have to get a new PSU. I am going to limit myself to brands I know. his would mean Cooler Master, Thermaltake(Seriously one of the crazier names I ever saw), XFX (Same as my last one), and Corsair.
I"m looking to budget $450 USD for this thing, There are already orders in place going forward, and I am very sorry I have to keep this campaign a while longer.
So Let me take proper stock of what I have and I'll be back soon.

if you want a recommendation, i'd suggest an AX or RX series unit from Corsair, but at this time most of them within your budget and power rating are out of stock. if you need something right away, i'd also recommend SeaSonic power supplies as they are well-built and are a reputable OEM supplier for other companies including Corsair. personally, i've been using an EVGA unit in my desktop for a few years now and haven't had an issue with it, though i understand if you want to remain strictly with what you know.
"No one needs a V8 engine. But its nice to have the power, if you should ever need it."
So one i can personally suggest is this, Supernova 1300watt gold rated, ive personally used it and can so far give it nothing but gold stars.

As a word of caution, Both Coolermaster and Thermaltake have had rather poor runs on their PSU's from time to time, several thermaltake actually exploded from bad internals and other simply cooked the systems they were in....so just my 2cents there, trusted so far, EVGA, Corsair, and SeaSonic
