For those who are new to me, you might notice a lot of my art follows a particular fan series I've created. Toon Wars, or more recently, Toon Wars Legacy. And many characters I draw tend to come from there. Much like how  shurikenmix draws the Werecat versions of Gumball and Nicole instead of the regular ones. Though people can point and laugh at the fact that it’s essentially a fanfiction/crossover that got bigger than expected, Toon Wars had a big history and an impact on my life and how I write a bunch of things, and I wanted to acknowledge it here. Now I’m still writing more stories in the Legacy series; the next being The Watterson, which is more of a standalone about Gumball after the Toon Wars going on an adventure of his own. But for those who haven’t read Toon Wars, the short synopsis is that it was a major conflict that lasted for a total of 5 years. And in those 5 years, cartoons from Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network were crossing over till they all essentially became one (the Toonverse). This whole thing started when the Syndicate from Nicktoons Unite (Vlad, Crocker, and Calamitous) discovered the existence of Cartoon Network through the Void from Gumball, and discovered the Fourth Wall Controls. They learned that shows that are canceled tend to stay frozen in time while those that come to an end remain on repeat; both happening until new content can be produced. And so they started observing a lot of the shows at the time, how the real world was reacting, and believed that popular shows like Teen Titans GO (which I personally am pretty indifferent on) and Spongebob Squarepants are the reason many worlds can’t thrive for very long or cease production. So with that idea in mind, they used it to manipulate just about everyone they could other than those worlds they’ve come from. While cartoons were beginning to fight each other, they also repurposed and manufactured assets from past Nicktoons games to create a grand robot army to prolong the war they’ve begun. But the Nicktoons (namely Jimmy, Danny, and Timmy) had an idea of their own. Crossing over with some heroes they’ve met in the past like Jenny or Tak, and going on to meet new ones like Gumball and Samurai Jack. From there, they created the Toon Force, which was their opposition to the Syndicate army. And after 5 years worth of fighting, they won and the multiverse was made whole through a massive event that almost saw its deletion (side note: this is also the reason why there’s sometimes more than one version of a character on screen, such as Turbo K.O. and Catra in Crossover Forces).

There’s a TON more detail I could get into, but it would drag on way too long for this journal. XD So what I’m gonna do is leave a link down below to the Toon Wars Wiki I made to keep everything archived and explain the lore better.
