A few months ago, my cat, Napolean had to be brought into the vet because he wasn't eating well, i thought that was gonna be the day i lost him. Just days after my birthday.
Today September 5th, was the last time i had to bring him in, this time he was going blind, he was almost 17 years old, he hasn't been eating much, and lost control of his bladder, he had a few other organ problems as well as some with his teeth.
Napolean didn't deserve to live like that, i was not going to let him struggle to hold onto life. This was the hardest thing for me to do for him, but it was the best i could. Holding him in my arms while they gave him the drugs made me cry so much i sat there holding him still petting his head as his life fades away.
I also want to apologize to anyone if i mentioned that i was going to put him down back in May. That was out of stress and I'm sorry. Things have not been easy for me this year and i know they haven't for anyone.
But this is for my best friend, my wonderful companion, I will miss you very much Napo.
No need to comment at all. I just want tou all to cherish your pet right now if you have one because i wish i could have been there for him longer that time in May was the last time i saw him and i regret not visiting my mom to see him. At least once.
Im writing this because i never want to forget him and i want everyone to know that i loved him.
