One time, I got a skylight installed in my apartment. The neighbours upstairs were PISSED!

These guys are some of the most unstable and unreasonable pricks I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. We live on the bottom floor and they live on the top floor, and they are losing their shit over our 2 year old running around down here mid day.

Tough nuts. It's daytime and, if it's an apartment, them's the breaks sometimes. Where I lived in California, I loved upstairs to people downstairs who kept BLARING the most obnoxiously bass-driven shitty sounding music in their apartment around mid-afternoon for a few hours. I worked second and third shift so it was especially bad for me--but, I didn't complain and I knew it was just part of living in an apartment. I eventually started sleeping with headphones (so my alarm can still wake me up, for example). It wasn't comfortable but I did my best to live through it. Deal with it, people. :P A little kid running around DOWNSTAIRS doesn't even compare. :P Anything the landlord can do about it to help make everyone happy somehow?

There is sooo much to all this, it's not even funny. We had a meeting with the landlord last week because the fucking guy had an adult tantrum and was jumping up and down on our ceiling to the point where he shook the globe on our ceiling fan loose and it fell and ALMOST HIT MY 4 YEAR OLD. The landlord is useless. She basically wanted us to all sit in a circle and hold hands while singing koombayah. She did absolutely nothing lol. We ended up getting a bunch of rugs and covering the house with them, all the while getting threatening texts from them and now the back yard is covered in dog shit from their dogs that they refuse to pick up. I'm about to bag it and leave it on the hood of their car. Good fucking times! :D

Fucking hell. Any chance of moving to another apartment room in the complex next to a better neighbour? Make sure to tell the landlord that the upstairs neighbour is intentionally damaging property and creating a biological hazard in the yard by not cleaning up after the animal they're responsible for. Keep a list. I'm starting to wonder if they're possibly psychologically unstable and might become a threat, if they're willing to take it out on property and animals.
