Take care. Fires like these can leave you feeling really destitute. So much needless destruction. I was lucky enough to be safe from the fires here in Australia but for weeks I'd leave my house and it would be smokey with the acrid smell of burnt. Alongside checking the weather I too would check the overall air quality. It's a sombre time.

I was going to say this elsewhere but I noticed you have disabled the comments on your more political work. My heart goes out to all the Americans suffering right now.

I purposely disabled the comments in the more political works because I felt I would not have the ability to moderate the conversations in a responsible way. And civil arguments and debates are usually best done in a public space with witnesses, not the nebulous abstract ness of the internet where people are unable to read emotions very well in text form.

If people like my works, they can fav and share it and make prints of it. If they do not like it, they could always save the file and put their own truth on it.

And I am thankful and grateful for your firefighters from Australia for coming over here to lend us their aid. We are very thankful of it, and thankful that we are not quite so alone in the experience.

It's fucking crazy. Firefighting here used to be seasonal but with the increase of fires worldwide it's become a full time job. During last year's fires Canadians shipped a bunch of firefighters down here to help out, too. Climate change is something we need to all come together to combat. Stay strong.
