Cat problems - Taking a break
I don't post a lot of journals really, usually just updates on life. Sorry.
But.
My cat was spayed today by the state program where I live, unfortunately her charts had a mistake on them and she received a dose of anesthetic for a 10 1/2lb cat. She weighs a little under 2lbs.
She's come awful close to not making it and her recovery process could take a lot of time.
She won't completely have the anesthetic out of her system for a minimum of 3 days and then her recovery process will have to go through the motions.
She's also got feral tendencies, so its also a matter of regaining her trust after this experience.
I won't be posting for a bit while I try to help her recover.

Take all the time you need, of course, your cat comes first!
I hope she'll be okay. Sounds like you're doing your absolute best for her.
I hope so too, she's improving slowly, but its going to take some time.
I hope your cats are doing well too, we have to do everything we can for these furbabies.
Mmhmm; gotta be good parents to them.
I'm sure your girl'll be just fine!
She's doing better later in the night now.
I hope everything works out. Pet your poor cat for me. Hoping for a speedy recovery. Also, sorry to hear about the trust issues. My cat has feral tendencies as well so I feel you on regaining trust.
She's doing better again today, though she's just hiding in corners and avoiding everyone.
And its rough stuff, dealing with the feral bits, but you adjust to it.
I'll pet her for you as soon as she'll let us touch her again.
