Probably not, but I think you'd need to define whether it's a pizza pie with general burger toppings, or a burger loaded with pizza toppings

oh no it's a burger, but with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, additional toppings can be added if you like, like pepperoni and such. but it's a BURGER, but has pizza toppings, instead of burger toppings.

Aah, then no I haven't tried that. That being said, I"d be inclined to make the patty half beef, half italian pork sausage. Straight beef doesn't seem like it'd mesh well with marinara

i suppose that'd be a to each their own there, i actually quite like straight beef with it, but i've not tried pork sausage with it either! so a fun idea for you to try sometime! if you like pizza, and you like burgers, you'll more than likely love a pizzaburger! just be wary, it can be messy lol

I think it was this western sitcom back in the 90's. Dunno the exact details but it traumatized me as a kid. For a while it was a phobia. Then around the time I hit puberty, I remember getting SM64 and getting up the courage to tackle shifting sands land. Whatever happened, the idea of Princess Peach in that level instead of mario must had activated something...

Did you or would you ever go back to play super mario bros 2? World 2 amd world 6 let you do just that.

What’s your reason for not drawing nsfw? Just curious because I feel can charge extra for it.

There's a number of reasons, but chiefly
1. I"ve seen several artists change things up and start doing NSFW. Pretty soon, it's ALL they get. I already get several commissions pivoting close to fetishes I don't like, let alone getting commisions non-fanservice related. Offering NSFW would only accelerate that.
2.I HAAAAAATE the visuals of nipples, vaginas, dicks, or buttholes
3. It's frustrating trying to do commissions with a lot of exact character details that don't amount to anything. 9 times out of 10 commissioners want the boobs bigger anyway so it feels the details don't even matter. NSFW would only bring more of that.
4. Truth be told, I do commissions for a living because I can't work retail. I do this because it's more manageable than trading shifts on a friday. I make enough money and I"M not gonna include more things I hate to draw just to earn a few more bucks.
5. Furry art is already an industry portfolio killer. Going full porn is just another nail in the coffin.

What genre of games do you enjoy playing the most? Perhaps one of the best of those?

defientely FPS games, though none lately have really carried a visual aesthetic I really enjoy aside from overwatch. Only other that I enjoyed immensely was Blacklight Retribution, and Quake Live

I’d like to get your thoughts on something a bit more “businessy” if that’s a word. The QS community seems to have splintered to some degree in recent years with artist cliques, a decreasing number of lurkers engaging with content, and long time figures like Dave moving away from content creation. I see you as a pretty important pillar of this community and wondered if you have also noticed this issue and what you would try and do to revive it to some degree.

If I"m to be completely honest, it's probably best if it splinters. Fetishes and niche interests like that aren't exactly all on the same page in the first place, so it's already difficult to get some kind of unity via a community. For example with the whole "Quicksand community" you already have big divergences from people who like watching others sink to being the ones sinking, whether it's a guy or a girl sinking, bondage or natural struggling, peril and distress vs being "pleasured" by the mud, and so on. I"m a person who likes busty gals playing a classic "damsel in distress" role in ballroom gowns, with no submersion beyond the breasts. And from personal experience back then, I am a TINY minority. The only reason why I"D think I"m any kind of "pillar" is more related to my willingness to draw those scenarios for commissions.
The other thing with fostering a community is it needs to be accessible, and that usually means getting people to know about it. Thing about fetishes is people tend to find those on their own, and given they are definitely NOT for everyone, "advertising" such a community is not advised. Not to mention it's easy for people who aren't 100% on board, to come to some sensationalist opinion. For the QS community, one could easily infer that the community is just a bunch of serial killers waiting to emerge. The interest some have with submersion and lightly implied death is one reason why I haven't gotten more involved than I already am, because just that variation from my own personal interest is enough of a turn off.
I guess if you really wanted a community going, you'd probably have to define it further, and sadly, with topics like these, growth will never be easy, if it occurs at all. But maybe it's better that way.

1. I already have, but those are under a different name, and I don't plan to offer commissions on those accounts.
2. I got into all this from DA and the heyday of the Sonic OC fandom. Eventually spread here when I drew some quicksand stuff and some SJWs tried claiming my fetish was an indication that I wanted to take advantage of women, so I kept that stuff to FA. Soon the only paying commissioners were on FA and I moved on from DA.
3 There's no shortcut to art; You have to draw a lot, you have to practice a lot. Draw every day, study CORRECT anatomy on sites like Posemaniacs, and don't get caught up thinking characters you make are special because you gave them shoulder tattoos, wings, and other superficial details. You study design processes from stuff like Overwatch and what not, and you'll do a much better job at making an actually memorable character.

Do you think one day you'll hang up your hat on drawing art on here or online together of fetish or niche interests? Like "You know what i've had enough" or "Well that was fun but I'm no longer interested in this."?

What is one MAJOR pro thing you like being here vs a MAJOR con being here?

Major pro thing? I can practice refining anatomy and my speed in drawing

I definetely see FA as a temporary thing. Ideally I"d like to refine my own art style and be known for that. I want to make games, comics, stories, and I"d like my own creations to be celebrated. Here, I feel like people don't want MY art, they want THEIR art, done by me.

Not really and frankly I don't intend to.

It's... complicated. I don't really have a favorite artist persay, rather I recognize and enjoy certain aspects or habits different artists do.

Definetely would have to be Belle's ballgown from the animated Beauty and the Beast. Close runner up would be Tiana's gown from Princess and the Frog. There really aren't many outside of that, let alone IRL examples

When you first discovered Warhammer 40K, what about it drew you in?

I actually learned about it back in middle school. Back then I just thought they were cool toys and was drawn more into the alien designs more than the actual game. Felt like these designs weren't trying to be too "safe for kids."

Do you still watch any cartoons or anime? If so, what are some of your favorite series? Also, what Ceres in your opinion is a very underrated one?

Dunno what you mean by "Ceres" and yeah I still watch cartoons and anime. Animation is far more interesting to me than live action. There haven't been many recent shows that have caught my interest, but I am jazzed about Shokugeki no Soma almost being caught up with the manga.

Shokugeki no Soma is amazing! It honestly inspires me to cook (mostly eat) whenever I see an episode. Really sparks back me back in the old days trying to become a chef.

A cartoon that I find is underappreciated is Mighty Magiswords. Cartoon Network did not give it the proper respect it deserved, so the show did not get too much publicity.

As an artist, how many times have you turned down comms for one reason or another (i.e. went against your rules, asker was being rude, etc.)?

It's been steadily growing. The issue with having a job as a commission artist is, since you don't have a shift or schedule, if you focus too much on money, you start guilt tripping yourself for daring to do anything but commission work because "they paid good money," as well as thinking you need to take EVERY idea because they're a paying customer. The only reason I still do this as my job is out of necessity of my situation.

It's a bit superficial, but something about gowns brings a level of class you don't get with other fanservicey options like bikinis or latex. Like there's more of a value to the person wearing the gown than just a hot bod.
