Finished Degree...but some hiccups
Well it's about damn time. 2 weeks ago marked the end of my two year degree for CEET at ITT down in Everett. I can finally move on and up to Bellingham to pursue my education at Western.
I have a problem though. After having shit hit the fan in my life last quarter and having to work an ass ton of overtime to keep up I fell behind.
I got in touch with one of my instructors and was assured that late assignments of mine would be graded which gave me reason to believe that I would pass...guess what. Apparently said instructor had other ideas. I was graded at the end of the quarter with a 59%...1 damned percent from being able to graduate (I would prefer at least a C but one cant be picky).
Now I've stirred up a shit storm at our campus disputing my grade. I've submitted all the pertinent information to have an appeal made even suggested I be allowed to take a mid-term I missed (It was an online course and I couldn't log in the week it was up).
Right now I'm just waiting to see what comes of it. I've got about half our in-house staff in Everett backing me but it's going to be ultimately the dean for online operations, on the east coast, who decides my fate. Suffice to say if they won't listen to reason, well me and some of my fellow students have enough unresovled and BS maneuvers by the administration of the online faculty in particular to bury the place.
Hope it doesn't come to that but who knows...
