Depression, stress....needing someone
Right now...I'm in a dark area of my mind.
I've been dealing with delivery screw ups....lots and lots of screwups.
Lowes, never communicated to me there was a delay in shipping the order within 24 hours, per their site, never said it was being handled by a third-party. And even then, it was significantly delayed, arriving a week after it was supposed to, because they falsely advertised their arrival date.
Last week, an Amazon Fresh delivery arrived but the driver never followed delivery instructions. The instructions said to deliver to the side door, describing in detail where the side door is. Then also stated to ring doorbell upon arrival. The driver delivered it to the front door, against the instrctions, and I didn't find out about the delivery until 5 hours later, because I was busy doing other things at the time. Amazon refunded the money for the perishable stuff.
And tonight, I had a delivery through my grocery store, who normally delivers it. Instead, they handed it over to DoorDash. Again, same thing with that, but now, missing $20 worth of groceries, some of which I needed because of the medicine I'm taking. Safeway is going to be delivering tomorrow the missing product.
And...I"m just...wanting to be held...wanting closeness...wanting someone to give me some loving. However, COVID...so....
EDIT: To clarify and answer "Why don't you drive to pick up your groceries and/or go to the grocery store yourself?" I will say this. I am immuno-compromised. I have a disease where the immune system attacks itself, on top of the treatment for this disease, which blocks the production of one specific part of the immune system, so...yeah. I'm getting groceries delivered to lower my chances of getting COVID-19.
