So I don't really actively engage in the community on FA, I have nothing against it, but it drives me slightly insane that a majority of the furry community is kinda ass-backwards in terms of their soapboxes they decide they need to get up on lately.
I remember when I first became a furry, everyone assumed because you were a furry you wanted to fuck animals. JUST because you're a furry.
Now obviously that's not the case, I was 16 when I consider myself joining the fandom. I'm 28 now, almost 29 and wow the world has changed as has this fandom.
Now that I feel like furries are slightly more understood somewhat, I guess we had to find another witch to hunt. people think feral artists are zoophiles and loli/shota/cub artists are pedophiles. whats next? Anyone who draws gore is a murderer? anyone who draws vore is a canable? I really want to know what the next hunt is.
I'm sorry but Art is fiction. That should be the end of it.

And tbh there are pedophiles in this world. Straight up, it's something that happens. I honestly feel bad for people afflicted with it because just like any of the fetishes we have, be it bondage, watersports, scat, hyper, diapers WHATEVER. You didn't DECIDE to have that kink. So IMO if a pedophile seeks out satisfation from art, I WOULD RATHER THAT then the possibility of an ACTUAL child get hurt.
I honestly feel like ANYONE who has ANY inappropriate thoughts towards children should seek help, if you truly have urges you feel you can't control, please seek help, it is NEVER under any circumstances okay.
But if you have those feelings, look at loli/shota/cub, PLEASE. That is your way to hopefully satiate that urge.
Do I sympathize with pedophiles? yes. If you act on their urges, I do not sympathize with them and they deserve to be locked up and the key thrown away.
I personally do not understand how anyone could see a child in that way, I understand that people do not choose what their body decides is sexually desired. You control how you deal with it.

I would rather a person get off to art than the real thing.
I just feel like the world wants to act like they're so open minded, but in reality people don't want to think critically, they want to pull what they want from something and come to their own conclusion without critically thinking about it.
People want to publically go after people for art. It isn't real, it's not harming anyone. Spend that energy on something that matters, like the people actually causing harm.
It's a good thing no one really watches me here cause I feel like this is an unpopular opinion :'D

And that's ridiculous. It's like assuming I'm a jet obsessed just to know the history and details of a video game franchise.

I wanna be a kid again, I miss it, it's helpful for my anxiety too :) To be able to get into the mindset of a kid again and pretend to have no stresses or responsibilities and just be happy.
