The Seiki is my original species. It is an open species so you can make it as long as you follow the rules. Here is the lore:
Where do they live?
Seikus live on a planet far away called Selvious Lotus. This planet is filled with vast landscapes and villages where the Seikus live. These villages each have different plants that grow there and they reproduce with these plants, though mainly flowers. Depending on the color of the plant, the markings glow this color.
Are there different places on Selvious Lotus?
There are four big villages where these Seikus live. Beltus Grove, Lutos Valley, Mizuku Palace, and Shiver Plains. The Seikus in Shiver Plains have thick coats of fur due to the freezing weather and snowy ground. The Seikus of Lutos Valley have smooth silky coats due to the nice climate and warmth they get from their planets sun. The Seikus of Mizuku Palace have smooth coats as well and are more keen to their culture. The Seikus of Beltus Grove have more mange fur and sharper claws due to their life in the forest unlike the others.
What is the Seiki culture like? Do they have Gods?
The Seikus have a special festival celebrating their God Salivar who they believe created their planet and them. The festival is called the Salcus festival and is celebrated on the Salcus day during the Full moons. There are legends told on this day and great music played through out the land as they dance in celebration. But if it is not a full moon on this day or if a storm is approaching, they don't celebrate for they believe it is a warning from Salivar.
Do they have different food?
There are other animals on their planet which they hunt and cook. Though their plants are kind of the same as on earth and they do make some earthling like food. Some examples of their foods are:
Mashed Kelpees (Like mashed potatoes)
Roast Melki (Like Roast chicken)
Mac N Cheese (Yes they have that)
Fried Kelpees (French fries)
Bubble Gup (Fish like creature they cook and eat)
And so much more.
Do they have pets or animals they ride on?
The Seikus do have small pets called Delcus. These creatures are as small as a fox on earth and have six legs and two tails. The Seikus also have a winged creature called the Elec which they ride to get around.
Do they have oceans, rivers, and streams? If so, do they call it water?
Yes. There are oceans, rivers, and streams but they call it Valcer instead of water. There are villages near the oceans and flowers near them causing some of the Seikus to be good swimmers. Other Seikus that were born elsewhere aren’t the greatest swimmers.
Different specimens and types of them:
Woodland Seikus- Ruffled fur and sharp claws. They are fast runners and good navigators in the woods due to living in wooded areas.
Snowy Seikus- Smooth thick fur and icicle like claws. They can survive the coldest of weather and create their own heat by their thick coat of fur.
Ocean Dweller Seikus- Silky fur but dull claws making them not so great at protecting themselves. They are awesome swimmers and love the water.
Domi’s- Seikus that are outlanders to the rest due to being born during stormy days and created into monstrous creatures. They have 4 eyes and arms and their markings do not glow. They are considered a bad omon upon whichever village they stay in.
And here are the rules:
1. The marking can be colored any way but you need a reason of the colors such as which flower they were born from.
2. Females are flat chested and you can not change that. That's just how they are.
3. Keep your Seiki SFW. You can design the markings but make them SFW.
4. DO NOT change anything in the design. Meaning you can't change the tail design. You can make it more fluffy but do not make it short. Unless you have a reason like it's tail was cut.
5. Have fun with the designs of the markings. If you want a star, put a star. Go give it your all.
6. You may make adoptables of them but make sure to get permission from MekoTheMaineCoon or LostWolfPup(Girl) on Furry Amino.
7. Your Seiki must be short. Not 6'0" foot or 5'4" feet. They are usually 5'0" or shorter. The only Seikus that are taller than 5'0" are the male but they can only get to 5'2" no taller.
8. Make it original. DO NOT copy Zuki's design or any one elses Seiki.
9. This species will be closing so if you want one and it is closed in the future, just PM MekoTheMaineCoon or LostWolfPup(Girl) to see if you can make one. (On Furry amino)
