Animation/Render comissions? yes?

So as I better my skills in the 3D workings I can't help but to want to take on work. For one I find creating/animating things for others to be a kind of rewarding experience. I'd probably even just do it for the fun of it. Though 3D as it is... very hard and time consuming stuff. Constantly practicing skills I've learned and learning something new every time I mess around it seems. I've been mulling about what opening up commissions would look like if I were to go that route. It's just not something I'm familiar with doing.
Perhaps I could put down a flat rate for renders and animations. Adjusting based on complexity. I'd have to also account for any rigging/retopo services if needed, etc... Or even scene assembly. Simulated FXs would be another thing to figure out, those aren't easy either XD
Maybe I should take the path of Patreon? Support there could help me improve on my work, make higher quality renders and animations with improved hardware. I can purchase neat and fun softwares to even further benefit the art and look of things. I could gather up assets and pay to have more models, scenes, etc. Fuel bigger projects and so forth.
I dunno, just some things I've been thinking about as I learn and better myself. Started into my hobby of 3D funs a couple years back as first a means to edit stuff so I can create a lewdy video game. Game never came and I kinda just got sucked into learning more and more about playing in 3D. As frustrated as I get with it somethings, figuring things out and improving is quite rewarding. So yuh, just kinda chirping into the void here. With or without funding I'll still be messing around with things.
Though! I'd like to say that I am open to discuss commissions. Like say you have a 3D model you're sitting on and you'd like to have a render or animation with such I can probably help, chirp! Send me a peep and we can talk.

What is the program you use, if you don't mind me asking? It does not seem SFM.

OP
I'm using Maya but it should be possible to import SFM models into the program with some work. Think I've done that before.
