this is directed, clearly lol, at freelance/indie artists who make predesigned print-on-demand stuff like t-shirts and stickers (think redbubble or society6)

do you have a preferred platform for selling/manufacturing your wares? do you sell fanart, original designs, or both? how many sales do you get within a year's time? what merch seems to sell the best (shirts, stickers, phone cases, etc)?

i'd like to make it clear that my expectations regarding this stuff aren't super high. i'm interested in this sorta thing becus i'm fascinated at the idea of making physical merch, but i don't expect to get rich off of it. it'd just work as occasional supplemental income and as a fun way to expand My Brand™®©

btw, partially related, does anyone use any services to print one-off merch for commission clients? for example: instead of potentially selling a shirt to several people, getting a shirt printed with a particular design meant for one customer. idk i'd just love knowing more about this kinda thing, but i'm most interested in POD, general merchandising
