VOTE SHADE FOR PRESIDENT 2020

Hello there fellow furries,
It's been a while since I've been on here, hasn't it? I mean the last thing I've submitted on here was from... (Checks gallery) ... 2016!?! DAYUM!!! THAT'S A LONG TIME!!!

Anyway, sorry I've been gone for so long... I was going through some s---, and I wasn't in the best condition for a while... Not sure why... I know that there were many projects I had on the table that I never finished, and photos I haven't uploaded yet, and I apologize for all of that...
But for those of you that have been worried about me, I just want you all to know that I'm fine and I'm sorry for making you all feel so worried for so long.
Does this mean I'm gonna get back to any of my older projects? Most likely not. Because after Shadow's passing, I kinda lost my creative drive. I mean I've tried drawing from time to time after she died, but something was holding me back. And it's still holding me back to this very day.
I mean the main thing I want to do is spread smiles & make people happy. Which is the reason I got into fursuiting. ... OH! THAT REMINDS ME! I have a fursuit now! I mean I've had it for years, but I never told you guys about it on here. It was made by my good friend

I'll probably start uploading pictures of it soon, but it's kinda hard at the moment no thanks to the pandemic... I mean I could upload the older pictures that were taken before 2020, but where's the fun in that? Then again, I do have 1 picture I took a few days ago that I can upload. So stay tuned for that pic. ^_^
That does leave 1 question though, what am I doing now? And why is this journal titled "VOTE SHADE FOR PRESIDENT 2020"?
Well, I'm trying to get into YouTubing. And for my first fursona video, I uploaded a presidential campaign video! You can see the video by clicking here. Please be sure to like, comment, &/or subscribe, it helps out in more ways that you could imagine. Sure, everyone on YouTube says that, but that's the reason they do. Because if nobody does that, their video(s) go unnoticed to the rest of the world... Lol!
Though I'm sure you all are wondering why I made this video in the first place, despite the fact that my reason is listed in the video's description. Well, allow me to explain.

So how many of you are familiar with a furry named Majira Strawberry (aka
Summertime)? A lot of you I wager. But if not, you can check his Fur Affinity page in the icon OR you can click here to see his YouTube page.
4 years ago, during the 2016 election, he posted this presidential election spoof video. And when Trump became president, Majira pretended he won the presidency.
In one of his videos regarding his presidency (I don't remember which video, it was so long ago), I told him that if he does this again 4 years later, other furries should run against him. And the furry community should create a poll to see who they would like to see be their "furry president".
Well, he posted another campaign video for this year. And just for fun, I decided to run against him this year! Lol!
Do I expect to win the presidency if the furry community puts this to a vote? Not really... Especially since Majira & I aren't the only furries running, and the other furries are WAY more popular than me.
There's also a furry named Glitch who's also running, and I think Aitrus Otter might be running, but it's kinda hard for me to tell from his video...

Anyway, if you haven't seen my video yet, I would appreciate it if you would, either like, comment, &/or subscribe and telling your friends &/or family to do the same. ^_^ If it gets enough attention, maybe Majira or any other furry that's running for president this year will notice it.
As for future videos, as we speak, I am working on a let's play series. I'll probably be uploading the first episode of it sometime next week, but we'll see depending on the situation (I originally wanted to wait until I had a month's worth of episodes ready). HOWEVER, in Glitch's video, 2 people in his comments suggested that he & Majira should make a debate video. I told them that I'd be more than happy to do one with them if they're up for it.
As a result, I recently sent an email to both Majira & Glitch to see if they'd be interested in doing a debate video with me. All I need to do is wait for them to respond with their answer, if they respond. But I did tell them that if they're interested, I'll offer to make the thumbnail for the video, which I will upload here on my Fur Affinity page when it's done!
And speaking of art, I might make some pictures regarding my presidential campaign OR finding some people to make a commission for me. But to help me get back into drawing, I'll make you people a deal. In my video, I posted a comment which I pinned. On the bottom, I said "Thumbs up if you get that reference". If 10 or more people reading this gives that comment a thumbs up AND can correctly guess the reference, I'll randomly pick 1 of those people to make a picture for!
Just remember that like before, I won't do fan art &/or fan characters. I will draw either any character of mine OR an original character of yours. It's up to you. Also note that I haven't done much drawing for a while, so I can't guarantee that the picture will look as good as it did 4 years ago. That doesn't mean I won't try my best though. ^_^
Anyway, that is all. Btw, if anyone does leave a comment on my YouTube video for the random picture request, you might also want to leave a comment on this journal letting me know which comment is yours.
If anyone wants a hint on the reference, it's based on a commercial from 2004 that was exclusive to a certain channel. I won't tell anyone if their guess is right or wrong until a 10th person makes a correct guess.
