From experience, sometime, it's just not the time. Take some step back and and focus on something else for a while it will come back for sure.

When you’re going through hell, keep going.

I know writer's block and artist's block are very different, but for what my experience may be worth, it's okay to not feel like or have the energy to do something. Our society pushes us to "just get it done" thanks to capitalism, but ultimately that's just not a healthy or happy way to live. We all need breaks, we all need time to think about what we want to branch out to. I have so many ideas that I just had to abandon because my mind moved on and it's sad but I also feel okay just moving onto new stuff and know that I have the talent, just not the energy at the time. Maybe I'll get it back someday.

And this isn't a "well if you wanna try something new just do it!" type of message, though if you ever are truly in the mood for something you should flex it. It's okay to not feel like anything sometimes. Creativity is beyond our understandings, which is why it's so amazing. Trying to schedule or control it ultimately won't work, for better or for worse.
