I do like some of my dreams, the "nightmare" ones I remember are a solid base for some short and sweet creepypastas if they are acompanied by the eerie imagery that my mind produced during sleep.
There are also those weird ones and the ape-shit ones that sound like a plot of a spoof or a comedy sketch. One of the last ones was almost a year ago, but I remember it clear as day. The plot was: the pope has passed on, so they'll be choosing a new one... with the rules, power and visuals of a DragonBall Z tournament. Holy shit, my sides reach orbit just reminding myself about it :,D

Holy shit, and here I thought the Pope Palpatine using his crosses as funnels like the Qubeley mobile suit was silly.

I heard you get most crazy dreams after eating apples an hour or two before bed, due to them getting stuck and fermenting in your stomach.

The stranger ones are the kind that feel too real or natural to tell it's a dream even if it is kinda odd. Like dating Poison Ivy. And I keep working on lucid dreaming to prevent atrocities like this inspired journal and to make what I do want happen to be a thing.

Have those too sometimes, the ones I remember the most center around me going somewhere in my hometown, then taking a turn and ending in some place I have never seen before, like a completly new town-square or shopping mall, buzzing with people. Despite the fact that my hometown is average by Poland town standard and I know all the major places well enought.
Lucid dreams are cool. I once tried to master it, found some guide online, didn't know how legitimate it was, but I remember it being a long process with a dozen of steps. I ended up on one about making a dream-diary txt file with all the stuff I could remember from the night. You're following some kind of a guide for lucid dreaming yourself?

I mainly try to brute force it by trying to focus on being able to change things or buffer by spending some time meditating just before bed and while in bed on what I do want. I keep track of what I can remember though by writing it down. Also gotta be sure to shut off all electronics before bed and avoiding eating heavy. I also try to experiment by sleeping with a plush, some give me those trippy kinda dreams that makes you wonder why even bother sleeping, but it helps me focus more on trying to change stuff while in it. Even if changes and control is limited, keeping track of how much is changed or controlled can go a long way.
