bad news; my grandparents are dying and their huge, beautiful home that i have many fond memories of is apparently NOT staying in the family, as was the grandparents' intention, but in fact is being sold to some stranger to pay for hospice care for my grandpa who is so far gone he probably wishes we would just kill him already.
