Fatigue, art and messages
Like a lot of people I’m struggling with increased fatigue in 2020, and for those of you who’ve followed me for a while you might be aware that insomnia and chronic fatigue aren’t new to me, so it’s a “fun” combination.
For those of you waiting on mssgs and art from me, I thank you for your patience, as I’m not always able to rally after work during the week.

Self-care comes first. Everything else, second.
Body. Please.
I hope sleep is kinder to you soon!

Chronic fatigue and sleep troubles often have underlying conditions or causes.
- Sleep studies and other help from a sleep doctor can reveal apnea or other things.
- Inconsistent schedules can wreck havoc on body cycles.
- Deficiencies of various neurotransmitters (such as melatonin) and vitamins can hinder getting to sleep and feeling rested...
- ...and so can environmental things, such as body and room temperature, sounds, lights, and other stuff.
- Various physical and psychological problems can sap strength even with what should be good sleep.
When possible, seeing a doctor can rule out or find potential problems, and good 'sleep hygiene' can make a huge difference in things.
You may know all of this already. You might've even been through all the things. If not, stuff like D3 and melatonin and sleep hygiene (light cycles, caffeine timing, temperature, and so on) is a very inexpensive way to try to help.
Either way, best of hopes for you.
And for future reference almost everyone with chronic conditions is well aware of them and will ask for advice when they want it.
I don't mean this to sound rude, but unsolicited advice is almost always unwelcome and has always been heard before.
Given that most people I have communicated to didn't know these things, and that I do know that there are people who do already know, how would you suggest I broach it so that people who don't know can still benefit and not offend people who already do know?
I still didn’t ask.
You wanna give advice? Ask them if they want it first.
Have a wonderful week.
People like you are why so many people with chronic illnesses lie about how "helpful" advice has been.
