I called my primary doctor to schedule an appointment about my thyroid levels. The nurse told me I haven't seen them in three year's and that I was Supposed to already be on Blood pressure and Thyroid medications. I argued with her only to later remember I used to be on these thing's....
In my defense I was in a bad place at that time and was suffering from a lot of thing's including a nervous breakdown, so I simply threw them out and forgot all about them.
Now I've got to go back this Wednesday and apologize to the nurse and listen to the doctor explain to me what a Dumb Ass I am......
So apparently All of these problems that have been plaguing me for the last several months I've brought onto myself.
Isn't that a kick in the head?
I'm such a Stupid Derg sometimes.....I feel so unbelievably stupid right now.☹

Yes we all make mistakes, but mistakes on This scale.... there's really no "Nice" way to call it is there?
Draggy has a closet Bursting with regrets, but I have learned to live with them now and to learn from every experience so that I don't make the same mistake twice.....one hole for each skeleton works just fine.😛

As for him berating me...that could go either way...and I'm accepting of that as long as he refills them and they help. I cannot stand feeling this way.....*cries*

Yes....and with any luck the getting better part won't take too long.... this is a Horrible feeling that I would wish upon no one.

Do note any and every side effect, though, and bring them up. Hopefully they'll listen to you. (Also they hopefully will try one thing at a time instead of several so you don't know which is causing what.)
Also, do talk with them about any supplements you take/should try. (Blood pressure they might try Omega 3 fish oil, and/or CoQ10, garlic, or other things. Keep notes on anything these cause as well.

I just hope they can correct this quickly and that I've not done any unnecessary or avoidable damage that will haunt me for year's to come....
Heh....that was a Serious oversight that's roughly six months old....
The thyroid is a gland. It will probably be okay with whatever treatment is needed. Doctors will say high blood pressure damage is cumulative, but if you do get it controlled, that will help stop further damage. I do believe the body can do a lot of healing on its own, once whatever is causing damage is stopped. We shed probably millions of cells daily, and depending on type, continue replacing them. You have a lot of years left, and tell your body that it has to step up. Of course, you have to help it in ways, but you're doing that now. Better late than never. :)

The thyroid gland controls both chemical and nervous systems in the body and can wreak havoc on both, especially the mind.

That does sound exactly like his theories....but like you say, how does that account for Homosexuality or Transgenderism? It Really leaves a lot of open questions.
That didn't exist in a very open or widespread manner, and wasn't accepted then, so was probably not on his radar.
The Roman empire was well documented for encouraging Homosexuality among their troops as they believed you would fight harder for someone you deeply cared about.
The Catholic and Christian churches tried hard for centuries to suppress such thing's because they didn't see it as being "Natural" when in fact, Homosexuality exists in nature as well and is Not just something that happens in the human species.
Such thing's existed, but it was considered Taboo and wrong in the eye's of the church even though those of the church practiced it regularly.

We do, though exactly how much compared to, say, Iraq is debatable. The question is whether we'd be bought, or given Freedom. I don't wanna live free and die hard.

I've recently had to cut back some Very heavy limbs myself. In all honesty, I'm a pretty Big Derg, but wood is solid and therefore surprisingly heavy in small amounts.
I chose to strain myself and possibly hurt something buy carrying or dragging the limbs I could have, but why? What have i got to prove by hurting myself trying to move something that can be just as easily moved if i only spend another 20 minutes and cut it all down into smaller more manageable piece's?
The Only thing you hurt by doing that is your own Ego but only if your ego is too big to begin with.
I think I will be fine once I'm back on all my meds again...at least I hope so. *Hugs*
