It's why I'm somewhat adamant about the concept of drawing lewd art of my fursona, whether I'm single or dating somebody. Phil isn't just some toon, he's supposed to be an extension of me, he is me, and I'm him. A tame compliment on how he looks is fine, I'd even be okay with him being considered "sexy", but when people get thirsty with him, even my closest friends, even when it's ironic, it gets very unsettling for me.

I can definitely understand what you feel this way with Rinka, she's you, and you're her, that's basically what a fursona is. It's a furry persona. People need to be more aware of that.
