Star dragon update
From my paws to your eyes.
So, i've been working on more species details. This is stuff that will be going into the book for the species, which I want to rewrite in a bit. It's getting there, I just want to sort out more details.
I guess, first off, gender details. Of course star dragons can be born with either ovaries or testicles, but when females get old enough that they can no longer produce eggs they can actually become male. The process is one that I want to detail more but expect at least a quick info sheet on it; Starlight is going to become male since I want to do something with the character and as the suit is too worn to be used for much beyond a plush, I can at least give it a new identity.
As all but one species have internal genitals only, this change is very easy; for firm-lipped terrestrial star dragons, they do not grow a phallus but instead will be able to produce semen like males of the species, and have to share it via a cloacal kiss. Terrestrial, aquatic and winged varieties have a lesser chance of undergoing this change however, as they don't live as long as common star dragons.
I'm also debating on making Jupiter female, as the character is still being worked on, but I might keep him male for art purposes.
