Regarding the election
I know it’s been a while since my last journal, but yeah I felt like posting just to spice things up a bit.
Biden’s gonna win this thing baby!
But also if you support Trump, you should probably just leave cuz I don’t want you here lol. Felt that way since 2015 when he announced his candidacy back then and I feel the exact same way about his supporters now.

Dunno how that’s homophobic, but ok. Hope you enjoy the last 3 months of Trump’s presidency cuz his ass is gonna be outta there very soon :3
....Falling and breaking his leg and getting sent to the prison hospital where he rots for the life in a cell.
Cool then this post didn't apply to you my dude.
>But this kind of behavior doesn't lead anywhere, the US are already divided enough as it is.
I wasn't trying to lead it anywhere. I'm just sick of a specific group of people who I think embody some of the worst qualities that mankind has to offer and I think my personal FA profile is a fair spot to lay claim to say I don't want these people associating with me.
>And i'm sorry, but hating on Trump isn't a political standpoint whatsover
I never implied it was.
>There's no ideology anymore, no exchanges, no ideas with behavior like this one.
The goal of this post isn't to express a free market of ideas. I've discussed plenty with Trump supporters online and in person for the last 4.5 years and have come to the conclusion that there isn't a single one who is worth the effort if they still support him at this juncture in time where it is near the end of his Presidency. They are either flatly to incapable of agreeing on what reality itself is or share such different values from myself to such an extreme that philosophically there's really no point since I don't even agree with their core values.
>And in a final note, are you really hating on someone since 2015 ?
Absolutely. Since June 16th, 2015 when he made his first comment on Mexicans crossing into the U.S. being rapists and murderers, it was very easy for me to conclude that only racists and idiots would follow him over even the other GOP candidates at the time and my opinion simply hasn't changed since then. He merely gained more and more support, therefore, more and more idiots to easily rule out as not worth my time after trying to discuss the facts of reality with them for the next 2-3 years.
In other words, if someone has been told time and time again that sticking their hand in an alligator enclosure will result badly, but they still choose to stick their hand in anyways, why should I have to be the one held responsible for their stupid action? And half of the people sticking their hand in are just doing it to purposefully annoy the people telling them not to.
But Biden is old so I guess both sides are just the same as per the other commenter below.
Normally, I'd feel bad that this is what one of the most powerful nations on this planet has become, but this is entirely on you guys for letting it happen in the first place.
Yeah no shit I don’t expect either to accomplish all of the things they promise, but even just WHAT they are aiming to accomplish is such a wide degree of difference that you can’t just say they’re both the same with a straight face. Besides, Trump had his opportunity to pass legislation in his first two years when he controlled Congress. Even with that they couldn’t get shit done besides repealing the ACA mandate. Biden will only not get that much done if the GOP continues to control the Senate and chooses to block every single piece of legislation that enters it with McConnell.
If you post another response speaking in such wide generalities with no elaboration, more detailed description, or evidence to back it up, I WILL block you because this is starting to get annoying to hear someone who doesn’t even live here speak so confidently on how they think our govt is run with nothing to back it up.
It's laughable to suggest that anyone who's been inundated with American media for most of their life doesn't know who Trump is. The guy has consistently been a glorified stereotypical used car salesman long before 2016, and that evidently hasn't changed during his time in office. Insofar as I can tell however, for all the talk of him being a problem, he's a symptom of far more that's wrong with the US as a whole than the convenient buzzwords used to describe him and his supporters:
The Democratic Party is as much to blame for Trump as the Republicans. It is a full partner in the perpetuation of our political system of legalized bribery, along with the deindustrialization of the country, austerity programs, social inequality, mass incarceration and the assault on basic civil liberties. It deregulates Wall Street. It prosecutes the endless and futile wars that are draining the federal budget. We must mount independent political movements and form our own parties to sweep the Democratic and Republican elites aside or be complicit in cementing into place a corporate tyranny. Sanders won’t help us. He has made that clear. We must do it without him.
~Chris Hedges
By contrast, Biden doesn't really stand out as anyone noteworthy, even for someone who's campaigning against a Twitter-happy clown. Sure, his political career is extensive and colourful to put it mildly, but the former vice-president as he is now is what I would expect out of the Democratic Party establishment, if heavily reliant on a good support team to be effective (no ruler rules alone, of course, which is something I believe we can both agree is not Trump's strong suit).
I will never understand how people can support and defend his actions.
